If some countries have too much history, we have too much geography.
– W.L. Mackenzie King (1874-1950) Canadian Prime Minister
I want to go where there’s snow.
I’ve been focusing my efforts on eastern European cities like Riga, Vilnius and Timisoara; but as Europe thaws out for the summer, I need to wait another six months before I can hear the satisfying crunch of snow under my boot. Life’s a struggle, guys.
For now, I’ll need to live vicariously through other travelers who aren’t bound to Europe by an obsessive need to constantly and expensively renovate their home (more on that soon). Ahem.
To that end, my good friend, esteemed colleague and phenomenal photographer Annie Rose Peddie kindly shares her photodiary from a recent trip to Canada. She focuses mainly on weddings, but her travel photography is just as show-stopping. You can check out her own thoughts here, but for now, I’m just going to leave these here.
