Photodiary: 3 days in Istanbul

I recently learned a new word; vagary. It’s Latin, darling, and in the 16th century it alluded to a wandering, roaming journey (it’s changed over the years, and now means erratic, unpredictable behaviour, but let’s forget that for now). I have a pal whose life is one long vagary in the most 16th century sense, which is appropriate, considering she’s currently living in one of the world’s oldest civilisations.

I touched down in Istanbul on Good Friday Eve for a long weekend of Turkish badinage with said pal. I have recommendations and musings to follow, but for now, I’ll let the city do the talking. To fuel your wanderlust, here’s what three days in Istanbul looks like…

Psst… Istanbul city guide is coming along in a few days, so subscribe for the update!
